BCY 8125 is a preferred material for Olympic recurve bow strings.

For 8125 we recommend the following strand counts as a starting point:

• 14 strands (20-26 lbs draw weight)
• 16 strands (27-34 lbs draw weight)
• 18 strands (35-42 lbs draw weight)
• 20 strands (43-48 lbs draw weight)
• 22 strands (49+ lbs draw weight)
